The internet rules because someone is into everything.. this guy made some mp3s of the first sukpatch 45. Unfortunately he didn't do my favorite song.. but these 2 are nice. This was the first Slabco vinyl.. i think it came out in '95 or so.. but who knows. I should, but don't.

read more here.. and download the mp3s...

..though he's tripping thinking those are mets colors... it's yellow, kid.
The nice thing about playing somewhere like the Getty is they are fancy enough to send mp3s of the sets..

getty sets and much more...

Set one is before No Age when it was still light out and had the vibe of a relaxing roman courtyard..

Set two was post No Age, dark out, bacchanalian orgy... those westsiders know how to loosen up.

pile on the y's.. this things on fire. Personally I think it would have won as a silent movie, but whatever.. I did the music and not above coat tailing it to the red carpet.. plus you dont have to sit through an ad to watch it here..

Congrats to Todd and the Hunter Gatherer peeps for all the awards, I'm just glad I got to be involved. Hunter Gatherer is the shit, and any ad people reading should hire them for commercials before you can't afford them.
It's not all fun and music around here, sometimes it's picture taking too. Here's a photo from an article in the new magazine "fixed' that I took..

Nothing like a courtyard full of west-side buzzed happy hour-ers bumpin and grinding to a king shade set.. Good thing they kick everyone out eventually, it would have gotten ugly(er). They recorded the set, I'll post it when i get it.

and... I'm looking for another version of the Hunter gatherer movie.. New York Times is blowing it.. 30 second commercial for a minute and a half video? We're dumb, but not that dumb.

there's not many design studios in our opinion that are as amazing as Hunter Gatherer. So when they called to do some music for a New York Times T- Magazine short.. or course we were excited. You can see for yourself why.. Hunter Gatherer is some super good stuff...

Circle Squared...
need more? check out their site.. and get them to do your next mindblowin' commercial..
sorry about that! I know.. i get the emails and such.. "where you at?" and stuff.. but, well.. lots of working going on. Sorry about that. Ill try to sum up the year in links. First we did 5 spots for Waterstones in England. For all you Americans, that's a book store. It's kinda like Borders I think. Geoff Mcfetridge did the animation, slabco posse did the music:

biography
fiction
cookery
bestsellers
kids

They came out nice, and Geoffs art as always is amazing. He has a show up right now at Redcat downtown Los Angeles for those in Southern California, and another show opening at the end of march in Seattle. Do yourself a favor and see one if you can.

I know it's been a while when the news thingy doesnt know my password anymore, and i have to figure it out.. sorry for the delay..

the word News is the plural of new.. i kinda love that.. but according to trivial pursuit, it stands for north, east, west, south.. i would always get in an argument on this one in TP games.. i just checked with the wikipedia god, who not only confirmed the plural of new story.. but debunked the north etc story.. i love the wiki, it knows everything.

so whats the plural new? not much.. just working on other peoples stuff and shit for some bills and stuff.. but..

July 20th, in los angeles.. theres going to be a material trip show at pull my daisy in silverlake.. it'll be your usualy mid summers fun-a-thon with tons of shirts and music and such, you can't miss it.

thats the news for now..
